About the Event
F.A.S.T. is a one-day event that brings together academic experts and industry practitioners to explore football analytics from multiple perspectives.
What to Expect
- On-field analytics such as player tracking data
- Sport business analytics such as attendance, revenue, and stadium operations
- Human performance such as injury prevention
Designed to create meaningful learning opportunities for students interested in sport data science, the symposium welcomes participants from a range of academic disciplines, including data science, engineering, kinesiology, sport management, statistics, and related fields.
Students will also have the opportunity to present their football analytics research during a poster fair, gaining valuable feedback from both academics and practitioners.
With its one-day format, F.A.S.T. offers a cost-effective and accessible experience for students from Central Texas and beyond. Student registration is $50.
